The Value Proposition
Design—good design—is not cheap. You would be better served to spend your money on something else if you don’t place a high value on what it can achieve. There’s a view in Buddhism that there’s no “good” karma and no “bad” karma, there’s just karma. The same can’t be said for design. Karma is a universal condition. Design is a human act (which often affects conditions) and, therefore, subject to many variables. When the word design is used here, it is always in the context of good design.

Marketing Your Art
“Will I be able to sell MY ART effectively online?” You need to stop procrastinating TODAY. If you’ve made at least one sale to a stranger (i.e. not a family member or friend) then you’ve established there is a market for your art—both offline and online. The market has told you your art IS good enough. If you’ve sold well in galleries or art shows, then you ABSOLUTELY have a market online and it is larger than anything you have been doing. So the next big question is… can you effectively market your art? YES, that is the real question. Marketing is where the real sales growth is going to come from. Don’t worry—some of the most successful photographers and artists we know are not natural marketers. So… then what made them successful? At one point, they just WENT FOR IT. Because if you continue to sit on the sidelines, you’ll never get anywhere! Does your work stack up to Picasso or Ansel Adams? It might, it might not—the point is, it doesn’t have to in order for you to be successful today. There just has to be a market for YOUR art. From there, if you have a solid marketing strategy and you do it consistently, you can do very well. So—if you are serious about starting your art business and you want to join a community of 3,000+ like-minded photographers and artists all working towards the same goal, with the help of a professional art marketing team… STOP PROCRASTINATING. It’s time to get off the sidelines, and FINALLY give your art business a chance to reach the level of success you are after.
