By far the easiest way however is to use inDesign’s QR Code generator.
In inDesign, Choose Generate QR Code from under Object in the main menu bar. Then choose the Web Hyperlink option from the editor window. Paste the URL for the website you wish to direct people into the window. OK, and you are done.
